We recommend that you call in advance of your visit, as the Education Officer may be giving programming in the community.
Admission: By Donation. Free parking is available at the museum.
Visitor Information Tours:
Property: The Myrtleville House Museum property is open to the public. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the grounds for a walk, picnic or outdoor playtime with family. We kindly ask you keep dogs on leashes and dispose of garbage in the provided bins.
Camps: The Myrtleville House Museum hosts summer, PD Day, and March Break Camp for children age 4 – 11. For More information please see our camps page.
Education programs: Are you a teacher? Myrtleville offers a variety of field trips and outreach programs to provide an interactive, cross curricular activity to your students. Visit our education programming page to learn more.
Special Events: The Myrtleville House Museum periodically hosts special events that are educational, fun community engaging activities such as Family Day and the Easter Egg hunt and Speaker Series events. To join us, visit events page and follow us on Facebook.
Room/Property Rental: Need a venue for a special family or work event? The museum is available to rent our activity room that seats 30 and in nice weather months can extend outdoors to the property for more seating. Weekends available starting at $50.00/ hour.
Group tours: With advance booking The Myrtleville House Museum is happy to arrange a custom museum visit for up to 50 people.
Wedding Photos: The Myrtleville House serves as beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos. Indoor and outdoor spaces can be reserved for $100.00.
Volunteer Opportunities: Interested in giving back? Wonderful volunteer opportunities available at Myrtleville. Students looking to gain volunteer hours for high school graduation can assist with camps during the school year and summer vacation. University students and adults who enjoy working with children, public speaking and teaching history can assist in delivering curriculum based education programming.
